S-VYASA Deemed to be University, Bengaluru (5th–9th January 2026)
The AIU Women’s Yogasana Championship, organized under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), was successfully conducted at S-VYASA Deemed to be University, Bengaluru, from 5th January to 9th January 2026. This prestigious five-day national-level championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 200 universities across India, making it one of the most competitive Yogasana events at the university level.
Amidst this intense national competition, the students of the School of Yoga Sciences (SYS), Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Jolly Grant, delivered an admirable performance. The team secured an impressive 5th position in the first round on their respective stage and achieved an overall 18th position in the final round at the national level, thereby bringing pride and recognition to the university.

This commendable achievement is a reflection of the students’ disciplined training, consistent practice, dedication, and strong team spirit. The success of the team was made possible through the expert coaching and technical guidance of Ms. Neelam Rawat (Yoga Coach) and the effective management and leadership of Dr. Garima Jaiswal (Team Manager).
On this proud occasion, the Principal of the School of Yoga Sciences, Dr. Subodh Saurabh Singh, along with the faculty members and university administration, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students, coach, and team manager. They also conveyed their best wishes for continued excellence and future success in the field of Yogasana sports at national and international platforms.
